Mum’s Preschools—Ghana

Ghanaians have a deep sense of neighborly love. They want their own people to succeed. We are very excited to have implemented a model where a passionate mother or father takes the initiative to teach children in their community how to read!

Teachers use their own home or available building to gather in. They meet three times per week. Teachers are compensated not by how many many children are enrolled, but by how many children learn to read.
